GETTING STARTED

Yes, orders must reach just $300 plus GST in value to qualify. Each product must be ordered in inners which is shown below the product description. There is a minimum spend of at least $1000 every year.

Freight is complementary to our customers in the North Island upon meeting the minimum order threshold of $300.
For the South Island, Avalon pays the Lesser of 50% freight cost or 3% of invoice value (excl. GST) and the customer pays the rest.

Avalon is a business to business website that requires commercial quantities to be purchased. Avalon sells to businesses and individuals that can meet our minimums of $300+GST per order and minimum number of pieces per product.

Avalon retail products are packed into inner quantities to protect them from damage and reduce handling costs. The minimum number will usually 12 pieces per product however you can find this info below the product description.

  • Terms Account (payment due 20th of the month following) Credit checks are done. Three Credit references will be required.

GENERAL QUERIES

Yes, we have a showroom in Auckland and we’d love to see you. Our showroom is a model retail room and a great place to see Avalon brands in action. A handheld barcode scanner and a friendly salespeople make it easy to quickly place your order.

Please call to make a time so we can ensure you the best service.

Delivery is 3-5 days. Once the order is dispatched you will be sent an email. Auckland deliveries usually arrive overnight and within 2 days in the wider North Island areas. South Island or rural orders please allow 3-4 days. If you have not received your order within this time frame, please contact us so we can track it for you.

We have a accuracy rate of higher than 99%, however, occasionally mistakes happen. When you get your order, please check the invoice against the product to make sure you received everything. If anything is missing, please let us know as soon as possible so we can get replacement stock to you urgently.

When you receive your order make sure to count the number of cartons received. Look for signs of crushing, damage, water damage or theft. Advise your driver of any problems. Mark any problems/short supply on ticket or proof of delivery sheet. Signing for goods without any notes makes you liable for damage caused by courier. Always record problems on run sheet or electronic device.
Contact us for help to make a claim. Do it urgently. Couriers will try to exclude any claim over 7 days old.

Yes! We would love for you to use these images to help sell our brand and product. Just contact us to let us know and we can send you the images you need.

We are also happy to receive orders in Excel via email. You can also visit our showroom and using a handheld barcode scanner, quickly place your order for a wide range of products. A great way to see our range in its entirety. Talk to us about the best way for you to order that suits your needs.

Most of our products are designed here in New Zealand to ensure they appeal to the New Zealand local market. To give best value, we have chosen to get many of our products manufactured offshore, mainly in China and South East Asia. We work with suppliers who know what it takes to deliver great products and good value, some of whom we have been working with for over 20 years!

Our buying team sources product in a variety of ways. Using information about upcoming buying trends and working with sales data about what has been selling, they come up with product ideas. Some product that will suit the NZ market are purchased as is from the supplier. Many products however are designed by our in house designer, we also work alongside outsourced free lance designers and consultants to ensure it is the right fit for our customers.
